I created Gymwhale after being called a word meant to embarrass people like me, people who were already showing up and trying before they looked like they belonged.

So I took the name and made it ours.

Gymwhale is built on a simple belief: your weaknesses lose their power when you own them.

This isn’t a brand for one body type or fitness level. It’s for anyone willing to be honest about where they are and keep working toward more.

Your progress can be slow. It can look completely different from someone elses. It doesn’t need anyones approval. You don’t owe anyone proof of your progress.

But you owe yourself the effort, because we don’t believe in any wasted potential
